About DLF City Centre Gurugram

DLF City Centre is one of the first-generation malls on MG Road in Gurugram, built by DLF in Sector 28. Wikipedia's mall list gives it an opening year of 2003 and a size of about 260,000 sq ft, and architect Hafeez Contractor lists DLF City Centre, Gurgaon among the firm's retail projects. The mall sits right next to the MG Road station of the Delhi Metro Yellow Line, with MGF Metropolitan on the opposite side, and it formed part of the cluster that made MG Road the city's first shopping street in the early 2000s. Newer and larger malls such as Ambience and the CyberHub dining district have since drawn away some of the destination shoppers, and the MG Road strip now leans more on offices, food and everyday retail. For residents of DLF Phase 1, Sushant Lok and the MG Road societies, it remains a convenient local centre. Shop buyers or tenants should check current occupancy, lease terms and the condition of the building.
