About Lodha

Lodha is the brand of Lodha Developers Limited, a Mumbai-based developer listed on the NSE and BSE. MCA-based company data gives its CIN as L45200MH1995PLC093041 and its incorporation date as 25 September 1995. The group itself says it has been building for more than four decades. The company listed in April 2021 as Macrotech Developers Limited and changed its name back to Lodha Developers Limited with effect from 16 June 2025. Its registered office is in Fort, Mumbai. The rename followed the settlement, in April 2025, of a trademark suit the company had filed in the Bombay High Court in January 2025 over use of the Lodha name by a separate family business. Under the settlement the listed company keeps the "Lodha" and "Lodha Group" brands.

Where it builds in NCR

Lodha is a new entrant in Delhi NCR. Most of its work is in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and Pune, with smaller presences in Bengaluru and London. In December 2025 MRG Group announced a joint development with Lodha for two projects in Gurugram, described as commercial and residential, with combined revenue potential of more than Rs 3,600 crore. In its January 2026 quarterly update Lodha called this an NCR "pilot" of two joint-development projects. It also says it is developing a warehousing project in the region.

ADiHomes lists one Lodha project: Lodha Golf Course Road, a commercial building planned on a site of about 1.2 acres in Sector 28, Gurugram, shown as a new launch. We could not confirm a RERA application or registration for it on the HRERA Gurugram website. The site's published list of registered projects stops in early 2021, so its absence there says nothing either way.

Track record

Lodha has no delivered projects in NCR. Elsewhere, business press coverage of its January 2026 update says it has delivered 110 million sq ft of real estate, mainly in Mumbai and Pune. This is the company's own figure. Its best-known projects include World One and Lodha Altamount in Mumbai and the Palava township near Dombivli. Because the NCR projects are its first in the region, its Mumbai record says little about local approvals, contractors or after-sales service in Gurugram.

Legal and corporate matters

• Trademark dispute: The company sued over use of the Lodha name in the Bombay High Court in January 2025. The dispute was settled on 14 April 2025, and the name change took effect on 16 June 2025.
• Complaint against a former director: On 17 September 2025 Mumbai police arrested a former director on the company's complaint. The company alleged losses of about Rs 85 crore from unauthorised land and TDR deals, and said he had resigned on 17 August 2025. The charges have not been tried, and the company is the complainant in this case, not a defendant.
• Insolvency: We found no insolvency proceedings against Lodha Developers Limited. We did not review RERA orders in any state.

What to check before booking

• The HRERA Gurugram registration certificate for Lodha Golf Course Road. Until it is issued, the project cannot lawfully be sold.
• Which company you are contracting with, and whether the land is held by a separate landowner under a joint development agreement. If so, check how the agreement splits the developer's and landowner's shares.
• The completion date in the RERA record, compared with any date a seller quotes.
• For the MRG projects, which entity is the promoter and what Lodha's role is, since a joint development may be marketed under the Lodha brand while another company holds the licence.
