Where Sector 66 is and how it is laid out

Sector 66 is part of the Golf Course Extension Road (GCER) belt in Gurugram. Square Yards lists it under pin code 122101, while some other portals show 122102, so check the pin code on your documents. Neighbouring sectors include 65, 67A, 68 and 70A, and Badshahpur is nearby.

The sector sits where GCER meets the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR), according to a developer-run marketing page. The main housing type is high-rise group housing. Retail and offices are mixed in, such as the M3M Cosmopolitan and AIPL Joy Street retail projects, which property portals place in Sector 66.

On ADiHomes, as of October 2026, there are 7 live projects here. The median asking price is ₹17,842 per sq ft, based on 7 properties. By status, 6 are ready to move and 1 is under construction. The projects are Emaar MGF Garden Terraces, Emaar The Enclave, BPTP Park Prime, Ireo Uptown, BPTP Downtown 66, Emaar Palm Terraces Select and Emaar Palm Drive. GCER links to Sohna Road to the south and to NH-48 to the west through the SPR, according to 99acres and a Smartworld blog. The SPR is about 16 km long. Per an Inframantra explainer, it crosses the Dwarka Expressway at an interchange and can lead on to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Treat that last link as a connection to check, not a promise.

The same 99acres page flags peak-hour traffic, thin parking along the road, and waterlogging at the Ghata and Sector 65-66 junction after rain.

There is no metro station in Sector 66. The nearest is Sector 55-56, the end of the Rapid Metro line. BigEstate puts it about 5.7 km away, with Sector 54 Chowk at about 6.3 km. A general GCER figure from YoMetro is about 3.2 km, so distances vary by where you start. Rapid Metro is a separate system from the Delhi Metro. Per Square Yards, it runs to Cyber City, Golf Course Road and Sikanderpur, where you can change to the Yellow Line.

A developer-published page lists HUDA City Centre (now Millennium City Centre) at about 6 km. Other portals give far longer road distances for nearby sectors. Test the actual drive. I could not verify a nearby railway station distance.

Indira Gandhi International Airport is about 22-23 km away, according to a developer page and BigEstate. Travel time depends heavily on traffic.

• स्कूल: Shiksha Bharti Public School is listed in the sector. A developer page lists St. Xavier's High School at about 1 km. Portals also name DPS International, but I could not confirm its distance.
• अस्पताल: Medanta is about 7 km away, per developer-published figures. Artemis and CK Birla hospitals sit in the Sector 51-57 belt on the Golf Course Road side. A travel listing places them within a few km of Sector 57, so Sector 66 will be further.
• खरीदारी: Airia Mall is listed at about 1.5 km. Other options include Sapphire Mall (Sector 49), Hong Kong Bazaar (Sector 57) and Banjara Market (Sector 58).

Most distances above come from portals or developers, not official surveys. Measure the routes yourself at your usual travel times.

पानी। Gurugram's supply is managed by GMDA. A Tribune report says supply falls short of demand in peak summer even with borewells. It also describes a planned 100 MLD capacity increase at the Basai treatment plant. Ask the society about tanker use, borewell reliance and any water charges.

A Tribune report on a Sector 104 society shows why buyers should confirm that the developer has completed the required electrical infrastructure and security deposits. In that case supply was cut and the society ran on diesel generators. I found no such report for Sector 66.

Approvals and litigation. I found no verified reports of stalled projects or major litigation specific to Sector 66. That is not proof there are none. Check each project's registration on the HARERA portal and ask for the occupation certificate. Search court records for the developer and the land.

• Sector 56 to Pachgaon metro corridor: This is about 35-36 km with around 28 elevated stations. It is proposed along the SPR, with stops including Vatika Chowk. Ghar.tv describes it as at detailed project report stage, under state review and not sanctioned. Swarajya reports a cost of roughly ₹10,000 crore. No construction start or completion date is confirmed. Do not price in a timeline.
• Millennium City Centre to Cyber City metro: This 28.5 km, 27-station line is under construction per Ghar.tv. It does not serve Sector 66 directly. Sources disagree on groundbreaking dates, so check the official updates.
• Vatika Chowk underpass: Tribune reported a ₹109.14 crore approval in 2023. One property blog describes it as completed. Confirm the current status on site.

Sector 66 may suit people who work around Golf Course Road, Sohna Road or Cyber City and drive. It also suits buyers who want newer high-rise housing. It is less suitable if you need metro access on foot.

Compare the ready-to-move options, such as Emaar MGF Garden Terraces, Emaar The Enclave, BPTP Park Prime और BPTP Downtown 66. Do this by facts, not brand.

• Verify HARERA registration, the occupation certificate and the sale deed chain.
• Ask about water source, power backup and the electricity connection.
• Visit at rush hour and after rain.
• Confirm maintenance charges, parking allotment and any dues.
• Treat metro plans as proposals until they are sanctioned and funded.
