Sahara Mall Gurugram

Sahara Mall is one of the oldest shopping centres on MG Road in Gurugram, built by the Sahara group in Sector 28 next to DLF Phase 1. Wikipedia's list of Indian malls gives an opening year of 2001 and about 230,000 sq ft of leasable area, while a current listing site puts the total at about 2.6 lakh sq ft on just under four acres; the two figures likely measure different things. The building has four levels, with shops and food outlets lower down, offices on the upper floors and a cinema at the top. The upper-floor offices are owned by individual buyers, and units of roughly 1,100 to 1,800 sq ft come up for sale or rent; the large anchor store that once filled part of the mall has closed. The mall predates Haryana RERA, so it has no registration. The Sahara group has been in Supreme Court proceedings over investor refunds for more than a decade, so anyone buying or renting here should check the registered title of the specific unit, any attachment or pending sale affecting the building or its common areas, the maintenance agency and charges, and actual occupancy on the floor.
