On ADiHomes this sector sits under Central Gurugram. Developer pages and maps place the Sector 2 projects at Gwal Pahari, on the Gurgaon-Faridabad Road. Adani's own project page describes the location that way. Gwal Pahari is on the southern edge of the city, close to the Delhi border, so it does not feel like the old city centre. Square Yards describes it as a quieter, greener pocket at the foot of the Aravalli hills, in the Golf Course Extension zone.

I found no official sector map showing plot sizes or internal roads. Expect a mix of gated high-rise towers and low-rise floors. Confirm the exact plot and sector boundary for any home you consider.

The Gurgaon-Faridabad Road is the main route. It links the area to Gurugram's Golf Course Extension belt and towards Faridabad. Square Yards notes that public transport inside the locality is limited, so most residents rely on cars or cabs. Its news feed also carries a 2026 headline about Mandi Road being declared a National Highway. I could not confirm that with an official notification, so check it before relying on it.

There is no metro station inside Sector 2. The closest operating line is the Rapid Metro, whose Sector 54 Chowk station opened in March 2017. A Square Yards map for another Gwal Pahari project puts the Sector 55/56 metro station about 3.3 km away. Distances vary by project, so measure from the specific address. Listing sites also disagree on metro distance. Some claim a station within 500 m, which does not match the operating network. Treat such claims with caution.

Indira Gandhi International Airport is roughly 17 km away by one estimate and about 22 km by another. Travel time depends heavily on traffic.

• अस्पताल: Janki Max Hospital is about 1.4 km away, and Arunodaya Deseret Eye Hospital and Cloudnine (Golf Course Road) are roughly 3 km away. Larger hospitals such as Medanta and Artemis are further out, in the 15-20 km range by one aggregator's estimate.
• खरीदारी: 99acres lists Hong Kong Bazaar Mall at about 5.6 km, MGF Metropolitan at about 8 km and Ambience Mall at about 9 km. HUDA Market and Banjara Market in Sector 56 are roughly 5-7 km away.

पानी। Gurugram has a citywide groundwater problem. A June 2026 Newslaundry report cites a 2024 Central Ground Water Board figure showing extraction at over 326% of natural recharge. It names other sectors as having weak supply, and Sector 2 is not among them. That does not show Sector 2 is unaffected. Ask each project how its water is supplied, whether it uses tankers or tubewells, and whether it has a sewage treatment plant.

Sewage and drainage. The city corporation promised to fix its worst overflow spots by April 2026, according to the Tribune. Bandhwari, a nearby village, was on that list. I could not confirm whether the work was finished.

बिजली। I found no reliable source on power supply or outages for this sector. Ask the developer or resident association about backup arrangements and billing.

Environment and approvals. Wikipedia notes that Gwal Pahari, Bandhwari and nearby villages are ecologically sensitive Aravalli land. It also records a 2017 National Green Tribunal order on groundwater testing near the Bandhwari landfill. Check each project's RERA registration on the Haryana RERA site. Also check its environmental clearance, occupation certificate and land title.

• Namo Bharat (RRTS) link: Swarajya reported in early 2026 that the Gurugram section would run from IFFCO Chowk to Gwal Pahari, with Gwal Pahari village as the last Gurugram station. Square Yards says the project was approved in March 2026. I could not confirm that from an official source. No completion date was given, so treat this as planned.
• Millennium City Centre-Cyber City metro: Swarajya reports that Gurugram Metro Rail Limited is building this 28.5 km line. It does not serve Sector 2 directly.
• Sector 56-Panchgaon metro: This 35 km line awaits approval. Ghar.tv describes it as under state review and not yet sanctioned.

• Ask about water source, sewage treatment and power backup.
