DLF Phase 2 locality guide
Where DLF Phase 2 is and how it is laid out
DLF Phase 2 is a planned residential colony in Gurugram (pin code 122002). It is part of the wider DLF City township and is described as having gated sectors (Square Yards). It sits next to DLF Cyber City, the office district, which lies just off NH-48 at the entrance to Gurugram (Wikipedia). One listing site names Raghvendra Marg as the main internal road (99acres).
The borders between DLF phases are loose. A resident quoted by The Tribune described Belvedere Park as being in DLF Phase 3. Ask the seller for the exact sector and address, and check it against the sale documents.
On ADiHomes as of October 2026, there are 3 live projects here. The median asking price is ₹22,800 per sq ft from 3 properties, and all 3 are ready to move. Examples are DLF Oakwood Estate, DLF The Belvedere Park and Emaar The Vilas. You can also browse all new projects in DLF Phase 2.
Connectivity
Roads
NH-48 and MG Road are the main links to the rest of the city and to Delhi. Golf Course Road runs close by. One overview describes it as an 8.3 km, 16-lane corridor with five underpasses and two flyovers. That source is a blog, so treat the figures as approximate.
Metro
Rapid Metro stations near the colony are Phase 2, Belvedere Towers, Cyber City and Sikandarpur. Walking distances in listings range from a few minutes to about 15 minutes, depending on the address. Check the exact walk on a map.
The Rapid Metro is an 11.7 km, 11-station line. It is owned by HMRTC and run by DMRC. Wikipedia's entries show one-way operation at Phase 2 and Belvedere Towers, so check the timetable for your usual direction.
For Delhi, you change at Sikandarpur to the Yellow Line. Belvedere Towers to Millennium City Centre (formerly HUDA City Centre) is about 5 km, with 6 stations and one change. The fare listed on YoMetro was ₹38, which may change.
Airport
Indira Gandhi International Airport is roughly 13 to 15 km away, depending on the source. Expect about 20 to 30 minutes via MG Road and NH-48, depending on traffic. Gurugram has no airport of its own.
Schools, hospitals and shopping
Distances below come from listing sites and developer pages. They are rough and vary by source, so confirm them on a map.
- Schools: American Montessori Public School is within about 0.5 to 0.7 km. The Shri Ram School (Moulsari, DLF Phase 3) and Shiv Nadar School (DLF Phase 1) are about 4 to 5 km away.
- Hospitals: Narayana Hospital is listed at about 2 to 5 km. Fortis Memorial Research Institute and Medanta are further out, roughly 5 to 10 km depending on the source. Some small clinics are under 1 km.
- Shopping: CyberHub is about 1 km away. Ambience Mall is about 2 to 4.5 km, and MGF Metropolitan is listed anywhere from 1 to 5 km. Galleria Market in DLF Phase 4 is about 3.5 km.
Civic matters to check
Power. The utility is Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN). The Tribune reported long outages in DLF Phase 1 after rain in 2025, and a fallen pole in DLF Phase 2. An earlier heatwave report listed DLF Phases 1 to 3 among areas with power and water shortages. Review sites contradict each other, and some residents report no problems. Ask the society about generator backup and recent outage history.
Water and drainage. Waterlogging is a documented risk. The Tribune's coverage of the 2020 monsoon named Golf Course Road and DLF Phase 3, and a Belvedere Park resident described near-yearly flash floods. Ask about basement and parking flooding in recent monsoons. I found no current, sourced data on the quality or reliability of piped water supply.
Approvals. I could not verify project-level approvals. For each flat, ask for the Haryana RERA registration, the occupation certificate and the sale deed. Since all three ADiHomes listings are ready to move, an occupation certificate should exist.
Litigation and stalled projects. My searches found no sourced reports of stalled projects or disputes in DLF Phase 2. That is not a clean bill of health. Have a lawyer run a title and court-record search on the specific flat.
Infrastructure underway or planned
- Gurugram Metro (Millennium City Centre to Cyber City): This is a 28.5 km elevated line with 27 stations, estimated at about ₹5,450 crore. It was approved with a four-year completion window from sanction (The Tribune). On 1 October 2026, Business Standard reported that Haryana cleared a ₹1,662 crore civil works tender for Phase 2, Sector 9 to Cyber City. It also reported that Phase 1 work is ongoing. Opening dates are not confirmed, so do not plan around a date. One guide mentions an interchange with the Rapid Metro at Cyber City.
- Sector 56 to Panchgaon metro: This is a proposed line. A blog from February 2026 said the project report was awaiting central approval. I could not confirm approval since then.
- Golf Course Extension Road: In May 2026, The Tribune reported that GMDA is preparing to widen it to eight lanes with drainage and footpaths. It is a plan, not finished work, and it is south of the Phase 2 area.
- AIT Chowk underpass: GMDA has proposed it for Golf Course Road, and The Tribune said it was yet to be approved. I found no later confirmation.
Who it suits and what to check
This area suits people who want to be close to Cyber City, with a metro station and a Delhi link within a short distance. Construction on the new metro line may affect some roads during the build.
- Walk the route from the flat to the nearest metro station, at rush hour.
- Visit after heavy rain, and ask the society about flooding and outages.
- Verify RERA registration, the occupation certificate, title and maintenance dues.
- Compare asking prices of similar flats using flats for sale in DLF Phase 2. The ₹22,800 per sq ft median covers only 3 properties, so it is a guide, not a valuation.
