DDA Dwarka Sector 16B MIG Flats

DDA built 348 multi-storey MIG houses in Pocket II of Dwarka Sector 16B, Phase II, registered with Delhi RERA as DLRERA2022P0031. The record covers a site of about 18,100 sq m, with construction starting in June 2016 and an end date of September 2021. In its Premium Housing Scheme 2025, launched on 26 August 2025, DDA offered 24 MIG flats in Sector 16B through online e-auction on an as-is-where-is basis. In January 2026 DDA issued a circular on the safety of these MIG flats and extended their payment schedule. It said a blast had occurred in the basement of a tower of Triveni Heights Society in Sector 16B on 5 October 2025, reportedly linked to a rise in groundwater, and that a joint inspection by DDA engineers, the Delhi Jal Board, police, MCD and IGL found the basement and adjoining structures structurally safe with no gas leak. DDA said it was carrying out the works advised by an expert agency for a permanent fix. Buyers looking at this pocket should read that circular, check waterproofing and basement condition, and confirm whether the flat they are considering is in the affected block.
