Sector 43 is an established residential sector in Gurugram (Gurgaon), Haryana, on the Golf Course Road belt. Property sites place it next to Sector 42, Sector 44, Sector 45, DLF Phase 5 and Sushant Lok I and II. Sources quote both 122002 and 122009 as its PIN code, so check the code for the exact address you are considering.

This is a built-up area, not a new launch zone. Housing is mostly apartments and builder floors. The main road carries offices, such as Global Foyer next to the metro station. Paras Hospital sits on Sushant Lok Road, inside the sector.

One road guide describes it as an 8.3 km signal-free corridor with five underpasses and two flyovers. That comes from a blog, so verify it before relying on it. Residents' reviews often mention traffic jams.

The nearest station is Sector 42-43 on Rapid Metro Gurgaon. It opened on 25 April 2017 and is operated by DMRC. The next stations are Sector 53-54, about 1.3 km towards Sector 55-56, and DLF Phase 1, about 1.5 km towards Sikanderpur. Rapid Metro connects to the Delhi Metro Yellow Line at Sikanderpur. One guide puts HUDA City Centre at about 4 km from the sector.

Walking time depends on your address. One nearby listing gives a 9-minute walk and another gives about 20 minutes. Test the walk yourself.

Rail and airport

Two listings put Gurugram railway station at about 9 km, while one gives about 15 km. Indira Gandhi International Airport is quoted at anywhere from about 12 km to 19 km. Hotel listings quote a 33 to 36 minute drive. Real times will depend on traffic.

Other listings mention Ambience Public School, DPS Sushant Lok, Shalom Hills International School and Excelsior American School in Sushant Lok Phase I. Hospitals. Paras Hospital is the closest, about 0.3 to 0.8 km depending on the source. Fortis Memorial Research Institute is roughly 1 to 1.5 km away. Max Hospital is about 1.6 km away on one portal.

Shopping. From the metro station, one source lists Global Foyer at about 0.4 km, DLF South Point Mall at 1.1 km, Central Plaza at 1.7 km, Gold Souk at 1.9 km and Ardee Mall at 2 km. Another guide puts Cyber Hub at about 4 km.

Water. The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) manages city water supply, drawn from the Basai and Chandu Budhera treatment plants. Resident reviews disagree. Some report round-the-clock water. A recent Square Yards review mentions dependence on water tankers. Ask the society about its tanker bills and borewell use.

Power. Supply comes from Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN). Ask for recent bills, the sanctioned load and the backup arrangements.

Drainage. Reviews mention waterlogging and broken internal roads. One road guide notes occasional monsoon waterlogging at underpasses near Genpact Crossing and Sector 53/54. Visit after heavy rain if you can.

Approvals, litigation and stalled projects. I found no verified, sector-specific report of litigation or stalled projects in Sector 43. That does not mean there are none. For any project, check the HRERA Gurugram registration, the occupation certificate, the title chain and any court cases against the seller or society. Also look at society dues and the status of maintenance and property tax.

• Sector 56 to Pachgaon metro line: Metro Rail News reported on 3 July 2026 that HMRTC had finalised the detailed project report. It covers about 35 km and 28 stations, at an estimated cost of ₹10,428 crore. The report says nothing about approval or a start date. It begins at Sector 56, the current end of the Rapid Metro line, so it does not pass through Sector 43.
• Golf Course Extension Road widening: The Tribune reported on 3 May 2026 that the road would be widened to eight lanes. It said the tender was complete and ground work was due to start soon. The road connects Sohna Road with Golf Course Road, south of Sector 43. I could not confirm progress since then.
• AIT Chowk underpass: GMDA has proposed an underpass at AIT Chowk on Golf Course Road, near Sectors 53 to 56. The Tribune described it as yet to be approved, and I found no later confirmation. Treat it as a proposal.

Sector 43 suits buyers who want a built-up area close to Cyber City and to hospitals. Families who want schools and hospitals nearby may also like it. People who want a metro commute on Rapid Metro are another good fit. It will suit you less if you want a new, low-traffic neighbourhood.

• Pick a listing, then walk the route to Sector 42-43 station at rush hour.
• Check the age of the building, its structural condition and the maintenance record.
• Confirm water and power arrangements with current residents.
• Verify the title, the approvals and the RERA status.
