Raheja Aranya City

Aranya City is a residential plotted colony by Raheja Developers spread across Sectors 11 and 14 of the Sohna master plan. HRERA orders describe a project area of about 108 acres licensed under DTCP licence 25 of 2012, which was shown valid only until March 2018. The colony was registered with HRERA Gurugram as 93 of 2017 on 28 August 2017, with validity to 27 August 2022. Orders passed in 2023 and 2024 still refer to that registration, and the sources reviewed did not confirm an extension or renewal of either the licence or the registration. Plot buyer agreements quoted in the orders promised possession within 36 months of the agreement, subject to infrastructure and force majeure. A large number of allottees have since approached HRERA over delays, and the authority has decided several cases against the developer. Raheja Developers has also faced insolvency proceedings, which in April 2026 were confined by the appellate tribunal to its Krishna Housing Scheme.
