Sector 43 locality guide
Sector 43 is a residential pocket on the southern edge of Faridabad, along the Surajkund–Badkhal Road. On ADiHomes as of October 2026, there are 3 live projects here, all ready to move. This guide covers location, connectivity, nearby facilities, civic checks and what is planned. Where I could not verify something, I say so.
Where Sector 43 is and how it is laid out
The sector sits beside the Aravalli hills. The listed projects give their address as Surajkund Road or Badkhal Surajkund Road. Square Yards lists Greenfield Colony and Sectors 42, 44 and 46 as the neighbouring localities.
The housing here is mostly gated apartment complexes. Omaxe Hills II is described as an extension of Omaxe Hills. You can browse the three ADiHomes listings on the new projects in Sector 43 page or the flats for sale in Sector 43 page.
Portals give different PIN codes for the sector (121001, 121003 and 121010 all appear). Confirm the correct one on your sale papers.
Connectivity
Roads. Portal data for Omaxe Hills II puts the Surajkund–Badkhal Road about 0.24 km away, Mathura Road (NH-2) about 1.9 km and the Faridabad Bypass about 3 km. These are portal estimates, so check them on a map.
Metro. The nearest station I could find is NHPC Chowk on the Violet Line. Two portals put it at roughly 1.8 km and 2.5 km from Omaxe Hills, so expect about 2 to 2.5 km. The Badarpur–Escorts Mujesar stretch has nine elevated stations, including NHPC Chowk, Sector 28 and Badkal Mor, along NH-2 (Construction World). I could not verify distances to the other stations.
Rail and air. I could not verify a nearest mainline railway station. A project listing gives Indira Gandhi International Airport as about 27 km away. That is a promoter-side figure, so treat it as approximate.
Schools, hospitals and shopping
Modern Vidya Niketan School, Aravali Hills, is listed on Badkhal Surajkund Road in Sector 43 (Wikipedia). One listing also shows Aarogyadham Hospital about 750 m from Omaxe Hills.
Larger hospitals and malls are mostly in Greater Faridabad (Neharpar), across the city. Amrita Hospital and Omaxe World Street are there, but I could not verify distances from Sector 43. I also could not verify a specific nearby market or mall. Check travel times at peak hours before you decide.
Civic matters buyers should check
Water. Faridabad's supply is shared between the Municipal Corporation (MCF) and the metropolitan development authority (FMDA), which sells bulk water. A Tribune report on a billing dispute said the city's supply fell about 100 MLD short of demand, and the corporation spent money on private tankers in summer (Tribune). I could not find sector-level data. Ask the society how it gets water, how much storage it has and what tanker bills look like. One older resident review mentioned muddy water in one complex, which is anecdotal.
Power. I found no sector-level source on outages. Listings mention power backup, so ask the society what it covers and what it costs.
Approvals. Third-party portals list RERA numbers for the Omaxe projects, but the formats look inconsistent and one portal says none is available. Project details also vary between portals. Omaxe Hills II is shown as 4 or 8 acres, and as 4 or 10 towers. Check the registration, completion and occupancy documents yourself on the Haryana RERA site.
Litigation and forest-land risk. Much of the Aravalli belt near Surajkund falls under the Punjab Land Preservation Act (PLPA). The Supreme Court's 2022 ruling treats such land as forest, and construction on it is illegal and open to demolition (PropNewsTime). Demolitions have included Kant Enclave. Enforcement has been patchy: one Tribune report described a planned drive being suspended. I found no source linking the three projects here to any case. Still, ask your lawyer to confirm the land's status and check for pending cases.
Infrastructure underway or planned
The Faridabad–Noida–Ghaziabad (FNG) Expressway is a 56 km project that is still under construction. Wikipedia reported that about 45% of the 28 km Haryana section was complete in June 2025 (Wikipedia). A 2025 article gave 2027 as a target but said no official date had been announced (99acres). It has a history of delays, including a Haryana–UP funding dispute over the Yamuna bridge. Its Faridabad end starts at Greater Faridabad, not near Sector 43.
Two other items are related. The Faridabad section of the DND–KMP Expressway was completed on 12 February 2023, and the Sector 62/65 to Jaitpur stretch on 12 November 2024 (Wikipedia). A 31 km spur from the Noida International Airport site to the Faridabad bypass was announced in August 2021, with a tender awarded in July 2022. I could not confirm its current status.
Who it suits and what to check before buying
Sector 43 may suit buyers who want a ready-to-move apartment on the Aravalli side of Faridabad and are fine with a drive or short ride to the metro. It is less suited to anyone who needs a walkable market, rail access or short trips to big hospitals.
- Open the individual listings for Omaxe Hills, Omaxe Hills II and Omaxe The Forest Spa for current details.
- Verify the RERA registration, occupancy certificate and title, including forest or PLPA status.
- Ask for maintenance charges, water sources and power backup terms in writing.
- Test the commute at peak hours, and to the metro, school and hospital you would actually use.
- Confirm anything dated, such as expressway timelines, with official sources before relying on it.
