Neharpar (Greater Faridabad) locality guide
Neharpar (Greater Faridabad): a buyer's guide
Neharpar is the name locals use for Faridabad's newer sectors on the far side of the Agra Canal. Most sources call it Greater Faridabad. This guide covers the basics, the civic issues and the infrastructure that is planned or under way. Anything old or unconfirmed is marked as such.
Where it is and how it is laid out
Sources describe Neharpar as Sectors 66 to 89, lying between the Agra Canal and the Yamuna. Sectors 66 to 74 are industrial. Sectors 75 to 89 are residential.
The Faridabad Bypass Road and Azad Hind Marg run along several of the busier residential sectors, including 81, 83, 85 and 88. The Greater Faridabad Master Road links many of the sectors. HSVP, the state urban development authority, has listed its completion as pending in a litigated stretch (see civic matters below).
The area is built on a grid of wide roads. Housing is a mix of gated apartment societies, builder floors and plotted colonies.
On ADiHomes as of October 2026, Neharpar has 16 live projects. Of these, 15 are ready to move and 1 is under construction. The median asking price is ₹8,100 per sq ft, taken from only 3 properties. That is a small sample, so treat it as a rough marker. You can browse new projects in Neharpar (Greater Faridabad) or flats for sale in Neharpar (Greater Faridabad).
Connectivity
Roads
Older articles say Neharpar is about 8 km from the Delhi–Badarpur border. The Delhi–Faridabad Skyway has an exit on the Faridabad Bypass Road for Greater Faridabad. Travel time depends heavily on traffic, so test the commute at your own hours.
Metro and rail
The Delhi Metro Violet Line serves Faridabad. Its Faridabad stations include Sector 28, Badkhal Mor and the terminus at Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh). Neharpar itself has no metro station. I could not verify distances from individual sectors to these stations, so measure the route from the project you are considering.
One source says a metro extension through Sectors 87, 88 and 89 exists only in the Faridabad Master Plan 2031, with no confirmed construction start. Do not plan around it. Old Faridabad railway station is the main rail option listed for the area.
Airports
Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi is the main airport. A road link to Noida International Airport at Jewar is under construction (see below). I did not verify current flight operations at Jewar.
Schools, hospitals and shopping
Schools named for the area include Delhi Public School in Sector 81, The Shriram Millennium School in Sector 81, Shiv Nadar School in Sector 82 (Bhatola), and Millennium World School in Sector 85. Narayana e-Techno School is in Sector 87 and Modern Vidya Niketan in Sector 88. One guide puts The Modern School, Faridabad about 0.6 km and Aravali International School about 1.3 km from Sector 85. Fees and boards vary, so check with each school.
Amrita Hospital is in Sector 88 (RPS City). It is a tertiary-care hospital with about 2,600 beds, and it opened in August 2022. Listing sites also mention Park, Maharaja Agrasen and Janak hospitals, but I could not confirm their exact locations.
Omaxe World Street is described as the area's largest shopping complex. Sector 79 has been described as a commercial district, though that description comes from an older article. For daily needs, check the market nearest to your own sector.
If you are short on time, the ADiHomes guides to Sector 81 and Sector 82 cover two of the school-heavy sectors.
Civic matters to check
Water and sewage
This is the most reported weakness. A Tribune report from around April 2024 said about 90 societies were in the area. The FMDA engineer quoted said 60 had water connections and about 40 were operational. A residents' welfare association said only 20 to 25 societies were receiving water, with high TDS. That report is more than two years old, so ask the society what it gets today.
Sewage connections go to a treatment plant at Badshahpur village. HSVP said unauthorised connections and untreated discharge from some societies were a problem.
Power and maintenance
Recent commentary reports complaints from some plotted colonies. These include water arriving once every 25 to 40 hours, sewer overflow, and no individual electricity connections more than ten years after occupation. These are resident and press accounts about specific colonies, not findings about every project. One source also notes that RERA and consumer orders are civil findings, not criminal convictions. Ask any society for its electricity connection type, bills and maintenance history.
Approvals, litigation and costs
HSVP's 2022 status reports show the master road across Sectors 75 to 89 was about 85% complete. The balance was in an area under litigation, with a target of April 2023. I found no later update, so the current position is unconfirmed.
Check that your project is registered with Haryana RERA. Complaints go to the Gurugram or Panchkula bench.
One trade report says Faridabad circle rates were revised by up to 75% from 1 April 2026, with Neharpar among the steepest rises. This can affect your stamp duty, so confirm the rate for your sector.
Infrastructure underway or planned
- DND–Faridabad–KMP Expressway (59 km): partly open. A 9 km stretch from the DND Flyway to Jaitpur opened on a trial basis in August 2026. Check the status of the rest.
- Faridabad–Jewar airport link (31.42 km): the Union Cabinet approved a revised cost of ₹3,630.77 crore on 10 March 2026. About 11 km will be elevated. No completion date is confirmed.
- Namo Bharat RRTS-cum-Metro: Haryana approved the final alignment of a 64 km corridor linking Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida and Greater Noida in February 2026. I found no construction dates for the Faridabad section.
- Ashram–Sarai Khwaja elevated highway: a 7.5 km, six-lane project estimated at ₹800 crore. It was described as proposed in May 2026.
- FNG Expressway: one source says it has been under construction for years with no firm completion date.
Haryana's 2026 budget also named Greater Faridabad as a growth zone. That is a policy statement, not a delivery schedule.
Who it suits, and what to check
Neharpar suits buyers who want newer, planned sectors with schools and a large hospital close by. It also suits those who can live with some civic gaps and are not relying on a metro station nearby. Most of the listed stock on ADiHomes is ready to move, which lets you inspect before you buy.
- Visit at peak hours and test the commute to your workplace.
- Ask the society for its water source, sewer connection and TDS reports.
- Confirm the electricity connection type and maintenance charges.
- Verify RERA registration, the occupation certificate and the title.
- Ask the authority about any litigation on the land or the approach road.
- Do not pay extra for infrastructure that has no confirmed date.
You can compare ready homes such as Landmark Kunjean Heights in Sector 88 and BPTP Park Grandeura in Sector 82. Visit each one and ask the checks above before shortlisting.
