Sector 57 locality guide
Where it is and how it is laid out
Sector 57 is a residential pocket of Gurugram's south side, sitting between Golf Course Road and Golf Course Extension Road. Listing sites describe it as mostly plotted development, builder floors and mid-rise apartments, and it is built around the Sushant Lok Phase 3 area. Sources differ on its exact neighbours. Sectors 50, 51, 55 and 56 appear in most descriptions, so check the boundaries on an official sector map.
It is an older, lived-in sector rather than a new launch area. You will find existing markets, schools and clinics inside it, which is useful if you want an established neighbourhood.
On ADiHomes there are 4 live projects here, all ready to move, as of October 2026. Examples are Ansal Florence Villa, AEZ Aloha, BPTP Freedom Park Life and Clarion The Legend. The median asking price is ₹7,500 per sq ft from 3 properties on ADiHomes as of October 2026. That is a small sample, so use it as a rough guide only. Connectivity
Roads
Most trips use Golf Course Extension Road, which links Golf Course Road to Sohna Road. Reports describe it as a main route for sectors 58 to 67 and for traffic heading towards Faridabad. A listing-site estimate puts Cyber City about 8.5 km away by road. Travel times in peak hours can be much longer than the distance suggests.
Metro and rail
The nearest station is Sector 55-56 on the Rapid Metro, the line's terminus. Sources put it at roughly 2.2 to 3.2 km from the sector, depending on where you start. Sector 54 Chowk is next, at about 2.6 to 3.6 km. The Rapid Metro connects to the Delhi Metro Yellow Line at Sikanderpur, about 6.9 km away by one estimate. Gurgaon railway station is around 10.6 km away.
The Rapid Metro is a short, separate light-metro line, so check whether it fits your own commute.
Airport
Indira Gandhi International Airport is about 20 to 24 km away. Estimates range from 30 to 50 minutes by road, and traffic will change that.
Schools, hospitals and shopping nearby
Schools: Listings show Scottish High International School (Sushant Lok 2), The Venkateswar School (near Hong Kong Bazaar), Chalk Tree Global School and Presidium (Tigra, Mayfield Garden) within a few kilometres. Check each school's real address and admission rules, because listing distances are loose.
Hospitals: Artemis Hospital in Sector 51 is roughly 1 to 2 km away. CK Birla Hospital in Mayfield Garden is about 2 km away. Medanta is about 4.7 km away on one hotel listing's estimate. Smaller clinics and a Motherhood hospital are inside or beside the sector.
Shopping: Hong Kong Bazaar is the nearest local market. Ardee Mall and Banjara Market are listed within about 4 km. MGF Metropolitan Mall and Good Earth City Centre are about 2 km from the Sector 51 side.
Civic matters buyers should check
Water. Water is the most common complaint. A Tribune report said GMDA received complaints about erratic supply from Sectors 55, 56 and 57. It blamed local shortages partly on potable water being used for construction. Another Tribune report found that in private colonies the developer is responsible for running and maintaining water supply. Gurugram's wider supply also has gaps. In a separate Tribune report, GMDA said last summer's demand was about 700 MLD against 570 MLD supplied. It also said a new 100 MLD treatment unit had missed several deadlines. I could not confirm whether that unit has since been completed. Ask residents about summer supply and tanker use.
Power. I could not find reliable, current data on outages in Sector 57. Ask the society about sanctioned load, backup capacity and recent outage history.
Approvals and litigation. I did not find a verified public record of stalled projects or court cases specific to Sector 57. That is not proof that none exist. Before paying anything, check the project's HRERA Gurugram registration, the licence, the occupation certificate for ready homes, and the seller's title. Also search court records for the developer and the land.
Infrastructure underway or planned
- Eight-lane upgrade of Golf Course Extension Road. The Tribune reported on 3 May 2026 that the tender was complete and the contractor mobilised, with work due to start the following week. The plan includes drainage, footpaths, LED lighting and a green belt. A property blog describes it as a 6 km Ghata Chowk to Vatika Chowk stretch with a six-month timeline. I could not confirm progress or completion as of October 2026.
- Flyover or underpass between Ghata and Vatika Chowk. A Daily Jagran report from around late 2025 said GMDA was weighing a Rs 578 crore flyover against a Rs 658 crore underpass, with the Chief Minister to decide. Separately, a Tribune report quoted a minister on four flyovers from Vatika Chowk to Ghata at about Rs 800 crore, with the project report being prepared. I found no confirmation that either has been approved or started.
- AIT Chowk underpass. GMDA has proposed one on Golf Course Road. The Tribune described it as not yet approved, and I found no later update.
Construction can mean noise, dust and diversions for a time. An older Tribune report also found missing footpaths and uncovered drains on the Vatika Chowk to Ghata stretch.
Who it suits, and what to check before buying
Sector 57 may suit buyers who want an established area close to Golf Course Road, with schools and hospitals nearby. Everything on ADiHomes here is ready to move, so you can inspect before you commit. It suits those who prefer a car commute, or who can manage the 2 to 3 km to the metro. Buyers who want a long, walkable metro commute may find it less convenient. See new projects in Sector 57 for the current list.
- Visit at peak hours to test traffic and your commute.
- Ask residents about water pressure in summer and about power backup.
- Verify HRERA registration, licence, occupation certificate and title.
- Check maintenance charges and the state of the building's common areas.
- Confirm the status of road works that could affect your route.
